Rebecca McConnell, a self-confessed huge fan of Caspar Lee, received an early Christmas present this December when she was lucky enough to bump into the YouTuber in the car park at Plett’s Sanctuary Beach.
Caspar, who had been having breakfast with his niece and nephew Hannah and Max, emerged from the car to surprise Becks who was with her sister Amy and dad Stuart.
“This has made my holiday,” said Rebecca, 14 from Rondebosch in the Cape. “I tried to meet Caspar at the airport in Cape Town last week, but I wasn’t sure of his flight number so I missed him.”
Joshua Pieters, who also has a YouTube channel and is a good friend and merchandise manager for Caspar, was with the star at the time.
“I couldn’t believe it when Josh got out of the car too,” said Rebecca. “It was like a double bonus!”
Caspar and Josh posed for a few photos with Rebecca, Amy and their friend and even recorded a quick video clip for her to show to her friends, before setting off for Knysna.
