A night at Plett Rage 2015

Ragers in Plett were treated to knockout performances by no fewer than four entertainers who took to the stage on Thursday night at The Lot in Plett.

The evening kicked off around 10:30 pm with Plett Rage’s first international act ever, DJ Mike Williams from The Netherlands. Some thumping tunes from an enthusiastic Mike soon had both girls and guys on the shoulders of their friends with arms raised for much of the evening.

Midnight saw the tempo change as P.H.FAT took the mic to deliver his inimitable brand of rap to a crowd of insatiable school leavers. The revelers impressed by appearing to know every word of every song that the rapper delivered. This was P.H.FAT’s second and final performance at Rage 2015, and by the response from the crowd, he’ll be back very soon!

Then it was the turn of Jack Parow to wow the party-goers with some unbelievably pithy lyrics in his unique style of Afrikaans rap. Parow ended his act with ‘Hosh Tokolosh’, a track off his album ‘Eksie Ou’.

The lineup ended with an inspired performance by Grimehouse who seemed hell bent on ‘blowing the speakers’. Playing to a still packed marquee until around 3:30 am, the masked musician brought the party to a close in style.

Rage continues with acts by Pascal & Pearce tonight (Friday), and Van Coke Kartel entertaining tomorrow, Saturday 5th December.
